After winning the toss and batting first, Galle Gallants produced an explosive batting performance, posting 208/3 in their 20 overs.

Opener Sam Harper laid the perfect foundation with a blistering 72 off just 38 balls, striking 7 fours and 3 sixes at a strike rate of 189.47.

He was well supported by Nurul Hasan, who contributed 33 off 32 balls, before Charith Asalanka stole the show in the death overs. The left-hander remained unbeaten on 70 from only 32 deliveries, smashing 7 boundaries and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 218.75.

Captain Dasun Shanaka added a quick 16 off 13 balls, while Chamika Karunaratne finished unbeaten on 8, helping the Gallants cross the 200-run mark.

Zahir Khan Keeps Royals in the Contest

Although the Royals' bowlers struggled for most of the innings, Zahir Khan was the standout performer.

Udara dominated the chase from start to finish, keeping the required run rate comfortably under control.

Strong Support from the Middle Order

Pawan Sandesh provided early momentum with 23 off 17 balls, while Wanindu Hasaranga chipped in with 16 from 10 deliveries.

Although Sachindu Colombage briefly brought Galle Gallants back into the contest with a superb spell of 3 wickets for 18 runs, the Royals never lost control.
