Welcome to Socialiya—a platform where entertainment, knowledge, and community come together. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Socialiya website and mobile app, including social features such as reels, posts, pages, groups, friends, direct messages, quizzes, and rewards programs. By accessing or using Socialiya, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of Socialiya, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The Socialiya Platform

Socialiya provides a social and entertainment experience that may include, depending on your region and app version:

• Story Wall & reels — watch, upload, like, comment on, and share short-form video and other posts
• Profiles & friends — create a profile, send friend requests, and connect with other users
• Pages & groups — follow or create pages and join public or private groups
• Direct messages — private chat between users where the feature is available
• Quizzes & trivia — participate in knowledge-based games and competitions
• Rewards & referrals — earn points, bonuses, or other benefits for eligible activity, subject to separate program rules
• News & cricket content — editorial and match-related features alongside the social experience

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Some features require a valid account and compliance with these Terms.

3. User Accounts

When you register, you must provide accurate and current information. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity under your account
• Notifying us promptly of unauthorized access
• Meeting any minimum age requirement shown at registration

4. Community Conduct

Socialiya is built on respect. You agree not to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post hate speech, violence, illegal content, or sexually exploitative material
• Impersonate another person, brand, or organization
• Spam, scrape, or use bots to manipulate likes, views, rewards, or rankings
• Upload malware, phishing links, or content designed to harm others
• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
• Attempt to bypass moderation, security, or reward-program rules

5. Your Content — reels, posts & uploads

You may post text, images, reels, links, and other material on Story Wall, pages, groups, and related areas. You are solely responsible for content you share.

• Your rights. You retain ownership of original content you create. These Terms do not transfer your copyright to Socialiya.
• Licence to Socialiya. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for formatting or accessibility), publish, display, and distribute your content on and through Socialiya, including reasonable promotion of the service where your settings allow public visibility.
• Only post what you may share. Do not upload reels, music, logos, or media unless you have the necessary rights or licences.
• No infringement. Respect copyright, trademark, and privacy of others. Do not republish full third-party articles or broadcast footage without permission.
• Moderation. We may review, remove, restrict, or disable content and accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

6. Friends, Groups, Pages & Messages

• Group admins and page owners are responsible for content posted in spaces they manage, subject to our policies.
• Private messages are intended for the participants. Do not share others’ private messages without consent.
• We may limit invites, friend requests, or messaging to prevent spam and abuse.
• Leaving a group or unfriending a user does not automatically delete content you previously shared publicly.

7. Quizzes, Rewards & Referrals

Quizzes, points, bonuses, and referral rewards may be offered from time to time. Unless stated otherwise in writing:

• Rewards have no cash value until redeemed according to program rules
• We may change, pause, or end reward programs with reasonable notice where practicable
• Fraudulent activity, fake accounts, or manipulation may result in forfeiture of rewards and account suspension
• Taxes or fees related to rewards may be your responsibility where applicable

8. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on Socialiya infringes your copyright, contact legal@socialiya.com with enough detail to locate the material (link, username, description), a good-faith statement, and your contact information. We may remove or disable access to disputed content. Repeated infringement may lead to account termination.

9. Intellectual Property

Socialiya’s name, logo, app design, and original platform features are owned by Socialiya or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our software except as permitted by law.

10. Disclaimer

Socialiya is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free reels playback, or specific reward outcomes. User-generated content reflects the views of individual users, not Socialiya.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Socialiya and its suppliers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, content, or rewards.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if required for legal or safety reasons. You may stop using Socialiya at any time. Sections that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes may be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
