Advertising Wallet & Billing Policy
Effective / Last Updated: August 23, 2026
1. Ad Wallet
Advertisers may add funds to the Socialiya advertising wallet for eligible advertising services. Where wallet top-ups or advertising services are taxable, Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 18% applies and is shown on the invoice.
2. View/Impression Billing
For view/impression campaigns, the applicable amount is deducted for qualifying advertising delivery according to the displayed campaign rate.
3. Click Billing
For click campaigns, the applicable amount is deducted for qualifying clicks according to the displayed campaign rate.
4. Pausing Ads
Advertisers may pause eligible campaigns. Future delivery will stop or reduce as reasonably practicable after the pause is processed. Delivery occurring before processing may still be charged.
5. No Refund for Consumed Spend
Amounts already consumed for valid views, impressions, clicks or completed advertising services are non-refundable.
6. Unused Wallet Balance
Eligible unused wallet funds remain available for future Socialiya advertising campaigns. Unused balance is not automatically refundable to the original payment method unless required by applicable law or expressly approved by Socialiya.
7. Example
If ₹1,000 is added, ₹300 is consumed by valid advertising delivery and the campaign is paused, ₹300 is non-refundable and the eligible ₹700 remaining balance may be used for a future campaign.
8. Invalid Traffic
Socialiya may investigate artificial or fraudulent traffic and make reasonable billing corrections where appropriate.
9. Billing Errors
Where Socialiya identifies a genuine billing error, it may correct the relevant wallet or transaction.
10. Taxes
Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 18% is charged separately on taxable advertising services, taxable wallet recharges and related taxable supplies, and is shown as a separate line on invoices. GST is not optional and is not included inside campaign rates unless an invoice expressly states a GST-inclusive amount. Advertisers remain responsible for their own tax compliance.
11. Chargebacks
Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account review, suspension or wallet restrictions, subject to applicable law.
12. Advertising Approval
Socialiya may review, approve, reject, restrict, pause, modify, or remove any advertisement or advertising campaign that does not comply with Socialiya policies, applicable law, advertising standards, or safety requirements. Approval by Socialiya does not transfer responsibility for the advertisement from the Advertiser.
13. Advertiser Responsibility
The Advertiser is solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, authenticity, pricing, offers, claims, disclosures, trademarks, copyrights, images, videos, and other materials contained in its advertisement. Socialiya does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of Advertiser claims.
14. Misleading Advertising
Advertisers must not submit advertisements containing false, misleading, deceptive, exaggerated, unsubstantiated, or fraudulent claims, including fake discounts, fake offers, fake scarcity, false guarantees, fabricated testimonials, or misleading pricing.
15. Sponsored and Promotional Content
Paid, sponsored, or promotional content must contain any disclosure required by applicable law or advertising standards. The Advertiser is responsible for ensuring that all required disclosures are accurate and visible.
16. Prohibited Advertising Practices
Advertisers must not use advertisements involving phishing, fraud, scams, counterfeit goods, unlawful products or services, deceptive schemes, fake urgency, bait-and-switch practices, hidden mandatory charges, misleading interfaces, or other prohibited or unlawful practices.
17. Advertising Content Rights
The Advertiser confirms that it has all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and authorizations to use the images, videos, music, text, logos, trademarks, product names, testimonials, and other materials supplied to Socialiya for advertising.
18. Intellectual Property Claims
Socialiya may pause or remove an advertisement if it receives a credible intellectual-property complaint or reasonably believes that an advertisement may infringe another person's intellectual-property rights.
19. Invalid Traffic and Manipulation
Artificial, automated, fraudulent, manipulated, or otherwise invalid views, impressions, clicks, or other advertising activity are prohibited. This includes bots, click farms, automated clicks, repeated fraudulent clicks, traffic manipulation, and other attempts to artificially increase campaign performance.
20. Invalid Traffic Adjustment
Socialiya may investigate suspected invalid traffic and may reject, reverse, deduct, or adjust charges relating to invalid or fraudulent views, impressions, clicks, or other advertising activity.
21. Campaign Suspension
Socialiya may pause, restrict, reject, or remove an advertising campaign where it reasonably believes that the campaign violates applicable law, Socialiya policies, advertising standards, intellectual-property rights, user safety requirements, or other platform requirements.
22. No Guarantee of Results
Socialiya does not guarantee any particular number of impressions, views, clicks, leads, conversions, engagement, sales, customers, revenue, or return on advertising spend.
23. Campaign Delivery
Advertising delivery may vary due to user activity, available inventory, technical conditions, campaign settings, competition, invalid-traffic filtering, platform changes, or other operational factors. Failure to achieve a particular performance level does not by itself create a refund entitlement.
24. Wallet and Campaign Charges
The Advertiser authorizes Socialiya to deduct applicable advertising charges from the Advertiser Wallet for qualifying advertising delivery according to the campaign rate and billing method selected by the Advertiser.
25. No Reversal of Consumed Spend
Valid charges already deducted for qualifying views, impressions, clicks, or completed advertising services will not be reversed solely because the Advertiser later pauses, cancels, changes, or ends the campaign.
26. No Circumvention
Advertisers must not attempt to bypass Socialiya advertising charges, tracking systems, wallet controls, click/view measurement systems, fraud controls, campaign limits, or other technical or commercial safeguards.
27. Chargeback and Payment Disputes
An unauthorized or fraudulent chargeback may result in campaign suspension, account review, wallet restriction, recovery of legitimate outstanding amounts, or other appropriate action, subject to applicable law.
28. Advertiser Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Advertiser is responsible for claims, losses, damages, penalties, costs, or expenses arising from its advertisement, advertising materials, unlawful claims, intellectual-property infringement, fraudulent activity, or violation of applicable law or these Terms.
29. Limitation of Platform Responsibility
Socialiya provides advertising technology and advertising distribution services and does not guarantee the availability, performance, reach, effectiveness, profitability, or commercial results of any advertising campaign. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
30. Account and Campaign Termination
Socialiya may suspend, restrict, or terminate an advertising campaign or Advertiser account for fraud, repeated policy violations, unlawful activity, non-payment, misuse of the platform, security concerns, or other serious violations of these Terms.
31. Wallet Balance After Suspension or Termination
Socialiya may temporarily restrict wallet funds while investigating fraud, invalid traffic, chargebacks, billing disputes, policy violations, or legal requirements. Eligible unused wallet funds will otherwise remain subject to the applicable Advertising Wallet & Billing Policy and applicable law.
32. Data Protection
Advertisers must use any user or campaign-related information obtained through Socialiya only for authorized and lawful purposes and must comply with applicable privacy and data-protection laws. Advertisers must not sell, misuse, unlawfully disclose, scrape, or otherwise exploit Socialiya user information.
33. Advertising Records
Socialiya's reasonably maintained records relating to campaign delivery, impressions, views, clicks, wallet deductions, payments, billing, and invalid-traffic detection may be used for billing, accounting, investigation, dispute resolution, compliance, and enforcement purposes, subject to applicable law.
34. Changes to Advertising Terms
Socialiya may update these Advertiser Terms, Advertising Wallet & Billing Policy, advertising rates, campaign requirements, or related policies from time to time. Updated terms will be published through Socialiya's applicable website or platform.
35. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India. Advertisers should first contact Socialiya Support regarding advertising, billing, wallet, or campaign disputes. Any unresolved dispute may be pursued through the legally available remedies and forums under applicable law.
