Copyright & Content Removal Policy

1. Purpose
Socialiya respects intellectual-property rights and provides mechanisms for reporting allegedly infringing content.
2. Section
WHO MAY REPORT A report may be submitted by:
- the copyright owner
- an authorized representative
- a rights-holder’s legal representative.
3. Section
COPYRIGHT REPORT A report should include:
- identification of the copyrighted work
- identification/location of the allegedly infringing material
- URL, post ID or account information where available
- contact details
- statement of ownership or authority
- description of the alleged infringement
- supporting evidence where appropriate.
4. Submission
Copyright complaints may be sent to: support@socialiya.com
5. Review
Socialiya may review the complaint and may request additional information.
6. Action
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, Socialiya may:
- remove or restrict content
- disable access
- notify the uploader where appropriate
- request additional information
- take account-level action
- preserve relevant information where legally required.
7. Counter-Notification/Appeal
Where legally appropriate and where the required process is available, an affected user may submit a counter-notification or appeal explaining why the content should be restored.
8. Repeat Infringers
Accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights may be restricted or terminated, subject to applicable law.
9. Trademarks
Trademark complaints should identify the mark, rights-holder information and the allegedly infringing use.
10. Privacy
Do not include unnecessary personal information in a copyright report. Socialiya will process submitted information for handling the complaint and related legal/compliance purposes.
11. False Reports
Knowingly false or fraudulent copyright complaints may result in account or legal action.
12. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for obtaining required rights, licences and permissions before uploading copyrighted material.
