API Usage Policy

This API Usage Policy explains acceptable use of Socialiya Developer APIs, Login with Socialiya (OAuth), SDKs, and related developer tooling. It supplements the Developer / API Terms and the platform Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Authorized use
Use APIs only for lawful applications you own or are authorized to operate. Request only the minimum scopes needed. Do not sell Socialiya user data or use it for unrelated advertising without a lawful basis and consent.
2. Credentials & security
- Keep client secrets on secure servers only — never in public frontend code or public repos.
- Register accurate redirect URIs and use HTTPS in production.
- Rotate credentials if compromised and notify Socialiya promptly.
3. Rate limits & fair use
Respect published rate limits and quotas. Do not attempt to bypass throttling, scrape endpoints, or reverse engineer beyond permitted API use. Socialiya may apply additional limits where needed for platform stability.
4. Prohibited API activity
- Phishing, spam, malware, or deceptive apps
- Impersonating Socialiya or another brand
- Surveillance, unlawful profiling, or discriminatory systems
- Fake engagement, reward manipulation, or fraud
- Any use that violates law or third-party rights
5. Enforcement
Violations may result in rate limiting, client suspension, developer account termination, or other action permitted under the Developer Terms.
