Batting first, Jaffna Kings got off to a flying start as openers Kamil Mishara and Avishka Fernando stitched together a sensational 129-run opening partnership.

Avishka played the aggressor, smashing 66 off just 36 balls, including 10 fours and 2 sixes, at an impressive strike rate of 183.33.

At the other end, wicketkeeper-batter Kamil Mishara anchored the innings with a superb 78 from 53 deliveries, hitting 6 boundaries and 4 sixes.
