Sri Lanka A delivered a commanding all-round performance to defeat Afghanistan A by 103 runs in the 6th match at Dambulla on June 19, 2026. A magnificent century from Avishka Fernando followed by a brilliant five-wicket haul from Dulaj Samuditha helped Sri Lanka A register one of their most convincing wins of the tournament.
After being asked to bat, Sri Lanka A got off to a flying start thanks to an aggressive opening partnership between Niroshan Dickwella and Avishka Fernando.
Dickwella entertained the crowd with a rapid 66 off just 54 balls, smashing 12 boundaries. He shared a 133-run opening stand with Avishka Fernando, laying the foundation for a massive total.
Avishka continued to dominate the Afghanistan A bowlers, scoring a superb 110 from 97 deliveries, including 13 fours and a six. His innings combined elegance with power and kept the scoreboard moving throughout the middle overs.
