Hong Kong Bowlers Keep Malaysia in Check

After winning the toss, Hong Kong put Malaysia under pressure from the very first over.

Opening bowlers Ayush Shukla and Hassan Khan Mohammad struck early, reducing Malaysia to 9/2 inside three overs. The early breakthroughs left Malaysia struggling to build momentum.

Middle-order batter Virandeep Singh fought hard with a well-made 45 runs from 41 balls, hitting four boundaries and two sixes. He received support from Sharvin Muniandy (20) and Azri Azhar (13), helping Malaysia cross the 100-run mark.
