Nepal Bowlers Dismantle Oman

Oman endured a disastrous start after being put under pressure by Nepal's disciplined bowling attack. The top order collapsed early, losing three wickets for just nine runs.

Mohammed Al Balushi, Shuaib Al Balushi and Nawed Al Balushi all departed cheaply as Nepal seized control of the match.

Middle-order batter Sufyan Mehmood fought a lone battle for Oman, scoring a determined 38 runs off 42 balls, while Zubair Al Balushi contributed a quick 22 from 14 deliveries.

However, wickets continued to tumble at regular intervals, preventing Oman from building any substantial partnerships.

Nepal's bowling unit delivered a complete team effort:

Karan KC: 3/20
Sandeep Lamichhane: 2/19
Sompal Kami: 2/26
Dipendra Singh Airee: 1/8
Kushal Malla: 1/1
Shahab Alam: 1/19

Oman were eventually bowled out for 94 runs in 19.4 overs.

Explosive Start Makes Chase Easy

Chasing a modest target of 95, Nepal came out with aggressive intent.

Opening batter Kushal Bhurtel smashed 20 runs from just 8 balls, including three boundaries and a six, giving Nepal a flying start.

Although Oman managed to remove Bhurtel and wicketkeeper Aasif Sheikh early, the result was never in doubt.

Captain Rohit Paudel anchored the innings with an unbeaten 21 off 20 balls, while Lokesh Bam played a stunning match-winning knock of 44 not out from just 26 deliveries, hitting seven fours and one six.

The pair shared an unbeaten partnership that guided Nepal comfortably across the finish line.

Nepal reached 95/2 in only 9.2 overs, winning the match with more than ten overs to spare.
