After being asked to bat, Gujarat Titans came out with strong mindset . Opener Sai Sudharsan laid a strong platform with a fluent 55 off 36 balls, mixing elegant boundaries with aggressive stroke play.

Captain Shubman Gill then took complete control of the innings. Gill was sensational, smashing 84 runs from just 44 deliveries, including 9 fours and 3 towering sixes. His innings powered GT into a strong position.

Middle-order firepower added the finishing touch. Washington Sundar scored unbeaten on 37 from 20 balls, while Rahul Tewatia exploded with 14 off just 4 balls at a strike rate of 350.

GT posted a mammoth 229/4 in 20 overs, helped by Rajasthan’s poor discipline, conceding 16 wides.

The turning point came with Rashid Khan weaving his magic. The leg-spinner ripped through the middle order with figures of 4/33, removing Jurel, Jadeja, Donovan Ferreira, and Shubham Dubey.

Later, Jason Holder cleaned up the tail brilliantly with 3/12, ensuring RR never recovered.
